Toskovat' uses deliberately unsettling contrasts in these two scents. Inexcusable Evil puts gunpowder and ozone before blood and iodine accords with flowers, then concrete, rain and incense. It is metallic and atmospheric from the start. Last Birthday Cake begins in a much sweeter world of almond, milk and cocoa-hazelnut, followed by cake, custard and brandy. Gunpowder and incense interrupt that bakery warmth in the base. These names describe scent accords, not ingredients such as actual blood or concrete.
