Stephane Humbert Lucas
About the house
God of Fire and Soleil de Jeddah - Mango Kiss give Stéphane Humbert Lucas two contrasting mango compositions. God of Fire pairs the fruit with lemon, ginger and red berries before woods and an oud-musk base. Mango Kiss adds chamomile and orange blossom, then coconut, ylang-ylang and a vanilla-balsamic base: a creamier tropical setting. Rose de Petra moves away from mango, combining rose and fruit with cardamom, pepper and cumin for a distinctly spicy contrast.
Venom Incarnat and Pink Boa take rich berry notes in different directions. Venom Incarnat combines strawberry, blackberry and caramel with cinnamon and cedar, then leather, balsam fir and patchouli: the sweetness has a darker, more substantial background. Pink Boa starts with blackcurrant, rosemary and blackberry; vodka and basil sharpen its raspberry centre before musk, sandalwood and incense. Its berries have a brighter herbal, aromatic edge beside Venom Incarnat's caramel and leather.
