Starck

About the house

Starck’s Peau collection contrasts textures. Peau de Soie puts soft powder and musk over woods, with animalic warmth; Peau de Pierre is drier, earthy and smoky. One is smoother and powderier, the other rougher and more woody-earthy. Their names evoke these impressions rather than literal ingredients, while the sculpted forms inside the bottles are part of the visual design.

The three additions offer a clear comparison: Peau d’Ailleurs gives earth, musk and woods; Peau de Nuit Infinie brings mineral notes, ambergris, citrus and leather; Peau de Lumière Magique turns to white flowers, ginger flower, Indian jasmine, pepper and patchouli. All three publish untiered notes. Compare these directions on skin. The broad note descriptions do not specify an order of development, a tree species or a jasmine species.
