Sense Dubai takes similar citrus beginnings in two directions. No. 9 starts with grapefruit, tangerine and pepper, then patchouli, oud and cedar lead to tobacco leaf, leather and amber. No. 8 pairs grapefruit, cassis and mandarin with lychee, peony and rose over musk and vanilla. The first is woody and tobacco-led; the second is softer, fruity and floral.
