Nishane’s range includes useful contrasts within closely named pairs. Wūlóng Chá and Wūlóng Chá X both combine tea and citrus, but the former names oolong and nutmeg, while the latter features green tea, magnolia and thyme. Ani gives vanilla a setting of ginger and green notes; Ani X adds melon, watery notes and green apple to a broader structure.
Fan Your Flames starts from coconut, rum and tobacco; its X edition adds herbal and resinous details. Elsewhere, Suède et Safran centers on spicy suede and Sultan Vetiver on vetiver. Pineapple can also appear against different woody backgrounds across the range. The Colognisé family carries the separate Extrait de Cologne label. X identifies an edition, not a guarantee of greater strength or quality.
