Montale ranges from concise rose, musk and wood compositions to fuller fruit, spice and dessert themes. Roses Musk focuses on flowers and musk; Dark Aoud concentrates on two woods. The broader compositions bring these familiar themes into very different company, so the Aoud name alone does not identify one shared scent.
Among the coffee fragrances, Intense Café gives rose a central role, Ristretto Intense Cafe adds roasted coffee and caramel, and Dallachaï brings milk, passionfruit and spices. Vanilla also has distinct settings: apricot in Sweet Vanilla, baking spices in Vanille Absolu, meringue and milk in Vanilla Cake. Their character depends on those pairings, not the length of a note list or the word Intense.
