Henry Jacques presents contrasting floral and resinous profiles here. Correspondence combines two roses and iris with apricot, then oud and ambergris accords, keeping a floral-fruity centre. Merveilleuse De HJ begins with coriander and ylang-ylang, adds jasmine and clove spice, then opoponax and vetiver. Its flowers have a warmer spicy, resinous frame. Oudh Imperial puts oud first, with leather and geranium before vanilla and amber. It is the more directly woody, leathery direction beside Correspondence's fruit and flowers.
