Gucci began as a luggage atelier in Florence in 1921. Its Flora, Bloom and Guilty lines have quite different characters.
In Flora, Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum pairs flowers with brown sugar and patchouli; Gorgeous Jasmine gives its bouquet a sandalwood-and-benzoin base. Bloom Eau de Parfum centres on flowers, while the Eau de Toilette and Parfum introduce different citrus, woody and sweet-resinous accents.
Guilty Pour Homme Eau de Parfum opens with an unusual combination of rose, chilli and balsamic vinegar. The 2022 Parfum turns instead to juniper and lavender. The full edition name matters when choosing between these contrasting versions.
