About the house

ScentStory’s 24 collection has several distinct woody characters. Gold combines vanilla and anise; Elixir Gold brings honey, coconut and cardamom.

Their shared gold name does not make them the same fragrance. Platinum pairs rose with balsamic woods, Platinum Oud Edition introduces oud and saffron, and Elixir Platinum turns toward smoky leather and vermouth.

Elixir Neroli offers a fresher contrast with mint, white tea and a tonic-water accord. Rise Of The Superb sets bitter herbs and chilli against an earthy base. The collection ranges from sweet woods to smoky leather, cool aromatic notes and bitter spice.

Elixir Ambrosia and Gold Oud Edition offer two paths through warmth. Ambrosia pairs tarragon and saffron with a four-flower heart and praline; Gold Oud places cinnamon and nutmeg around woods and vetiver, with vanilla bean and oud below. Compare floral sweetness with woody spice while keeping the editions separate.

Compare three fruit-led routes: Elixir Azur adds juniper, neroli and artemisia to strawberry before vanilla and tonka. Ice Gold puts apple and red fruits around jasmine and rose, with Ambroxan and white musk below. Go Dark takes apple through clary sage, lavender and vetiver towards leather and vanilla. Choose one contrast to try first; bottle colour alone is a poor guide to these structures.
